About me

I have worked in both time limited (6-12 sessions) and long-term (open ended) settings with a range of clients aged between 14 and 78 years. This included a year working with adolescents in a North London secondary school and 18 months working within a GP Practice, before setting up in private practice.

I am a BACP registered counsellor with an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Counselling, gained at the CPPD Counselling School in Hornsey, North London. I also have a BA in English and American Literature. Before training as a counsellor I worked at an executive level in marketing for twenty years, which means I understand the pressures of corporate and agency environments and how to maintain good mental health during times of professional as well as personal challenge.

I have experience of working and supporting clients with anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, loss and bereavement, perimenopause and menopause, relationship issues, miscarriage, OCD, neurodiversity, anger, depression and childhood trauma.
